mathematics teachers in Vocational school have the perception that vocational mathematics book should be understandable, there are examples of a complete, easy to use, and communicative. Efforts to develop vocational school math books books you should consider the criteria that is systematic, complete with training and assessment system, of interest to be disclosed, and illustrations as well as the appearance of fine structure, relevant and can be used in life, according to the context of the book, according curriculum basis, consists of solving problems and can enhance learning activities.
Solving problems in the vocational school mathematics books can be developed using the following criteria: (1) Exercise and error, (2) Make a diagram, (3) Trying to simple problems, (4) Create a table, (5) Find the pattern, (6) Achieving the goal , (7) Consider the possibility, (8) Think with logic, (9) Identify possible.
